Oklahoma Promise

Oklahoma’s Promise is a scholarship between the State of Oklahoma and a student who wants to go to college.  If the student’s family makes less than $55,000 annual income during the student’s 8th, 9th, or 10th grade year and they apply, Oklahoma will pay for that student’s tuition.  The student must maintain a GPA of 2.5 and take the required courses during high school.  The student must attend school regularly and refrain from substance abuse, criminal acts and delinquent acts.  The scholarship will no longer pay for zero-credit courses in college and your parents average gross income in the years following acceptance cannot exceed $100,000.  This scholarship is limited to 129 semester hours.  Exceptions to the limit may be considered for degrees that require more than 129 hrs.
